Pilton Green Man Festival
Once again we had another great opportunity to sing the the crowds at Barnstaple’s Green Man Festival with a fabulous concert that we performed in St. Mary’s Church at the top of Pilton High Street. This was the first year in a while that it was sunny and not raining! However, the sunshine it didn’t stop the audience from filling up the seats and giving us a great welcome. A big thank you to members Jeff and Jayne who conducted the choir. A great job all round…!

Moving moments at ‘Floating Bye’
It is always such a privilege to sing at North Devon Hospice’s Floating Bye event held annually at Instow Beach and it is always so very moving. We have had some lovely feedback and comments, which makes it all the more special.

Concert success!
The choir performed on home ground on Friday 23rd March holding our first concert at our weekly rehearsal venue ‘Barnstaple Rugby Club’. It was a great evening and we had a fantastic audience – full to the brim and very enthusiastic and full of applause. Well done to everyone involved, thank you to our audience for their support and a huge thank you to Barnstaple Rugby Club who decked out the room beautifully for us. What a fantastic evening!!

The Voice Choir goes international
The choir have just done their first overseas concert! We had the honour of being invited to sing at the Autumn Fair in the French town of Baron-sur-Odon in Normandy France organized by Baron-sur-Odon’s Twinning Association who twin with North Devon village Chittlehampton (see Chittlehampton Twinning for info).
